In 2014 POP would sold to Sony as a deal with the Great! Brand. Until 2018 POP was resold to Narrative Entertainment, who regained the Great brand.
Today we go through the Shows that were Currently shown on Pop's last week at time of Writing.

Annedroids
A Live Action Show where a Blended Family move to a Forest town where they meet a Girl Genius who creates Machines that are so Automatous they are practically alive. It's just a shame the same town happens to be hq of a Evil Government Weapons testing facility of Evil.
Barbie it takes two
A Direct Sequel to Dreamhouse adventures, Barbie meets a Namesake from New York and they become friends and partners in a Babysitting business, the newly christened Barbie Malibu and Barbie Brooklyn have a twist in their adventures, when A Unicorn comes from nowhere. Going from being down to earth to assimilating the Supernatural side to Barbie was going to be a hard sell, but this series somehow made it work.
Total drama Rama
Imagine the Creators of Total Drama Island, standing around the water cooler, devising a new series for their show.
"You know our Show, the one that's nothing more than Bikini girls farting and Vomiting to awaken those fet***hes in kids?"
Let's make those characters that our teenage viewers "Have Alone Time" to, become Toddlers, retcon the Ever Loving sh*t that these people who "Never meet til now"...Always knew each other and turn up Gross out humour in lieu of walk cycles!"

Totally Spies
The infamous French Cartoon where the assignment was make a new line of Fashion doll, and instead would be a show that had "reasons for Dad and Big Brothers to watch along." Every episode there seemed to be Awakening a new f***sh every week, bikini, Mind Control, bondage, furry, belly dancing, Muscle growth, fattening-and that was just the first series.
The plot, if you care, is that 3 high school girls are abducted to act as Spies for the World Organization Of Human Protection (W.O.O.H.P), Clover, the Valleyist, Valley Girl who ever did Valley Girl, Sam the "Smart One" and Alex..the Other One til they decided she was the Nature Girl in season 3, are recruited by Jerry for their anonymity (It's revealed, all 3 has Quote "The Spy Gemone", in a time where "Force Midiclorians" was still laughed at!) To face villians of the week. There was an attempt at a plot, where Terry, Jerry's Evil twin, made a Legion of Doom of recurring baddies, but then that fell a season later with no follow up.
Then the Singapore backed new Season Happened, where Here and in Universe, Totally Spies moved to Singapore.

Unicorn Academy.
Last year's Toy of the year is a Netflix Show that Is a 3d Cartoon, who follows Sophia, who is an important hero because she has lost her father, who is enrolled to The school he was last seen alive, the Interdimensional Unicorn Academy. Sooner that say "pokemon, Wink club and My little Pony, Put in a pot and we served what we got," we soon meet, new Age Hippy with Plant Unicorn, Bookworm Nerd with ice Unicorn, Fiery Latina with Fire Unicorn, Butch Lesbian with water Unicorn and Zoomer Prank Bro with Electricity Unicorn. Sophia is soon Bonded with a Light Unicorn who once belonged to father, because of course she does!

Nothing against the Cbbc Presenter that they hired this year to make original content, but this can't be viewed by anyone in their 40s like myself, and not get it, but at the same time, it's literally the same thing every episode. Every time I turned over, it seemed like Joe was doing the same tiktok dance in a different costume of a character from a pop show.

When This show is finally finished or when The Zag Brothers either go bankrupt or finally pull Thomas Astruc as main writer, this show, that was too big to fail, went and failed by every metric, needs to be Studied! Even the YouTuber Cyrus the Great, an account that was reviewing this car crash in real time, posted he couldn't take anymore. But this is what happens when The Creator names your main character's father after himself, her mother after an ex-Girlfriend, and treats his Creation like the unborn daughter they could have had! And writes himself into an episode where his creation compliments him on being "her Favourite Animator"
Sasha and Milo
Though sad to say, at one point Ladybug did influence western Made "Magical Girl" cartoons. Such as this Brazilian Cartoon, which looks amazing!
This Beautiful Aesthetic is the setting of Cresent Moon Island, an island that once housed an ancient Civilization that worshipped cats and continued into the 21 century. In fact more than half of the islands population is feline, and it's Commerce is it's fishing, cat cafes and tourism due to it's Ruins.
But there is more to the ancient Civilization. For the ancient people...were not! They were a race of Cat-People whose tyranny over both cat's abd humans caused ruin. Only the Guardians, 2 warriors who could transform between the 3 forms, sealed the evil, with them inside the temple.
Only for new Guardians to rise.
A bright and Funny show, with twists both everyone and noone saw coming. Sasha and Milo had Cerberus Syndrome, meaning it started easy and bright, but it got dark at the end, especially when most of the Humans got turned into talking cats with no way of turning them back, causing resentment at school. And saf to say, it got cancelled before it was resolved in a 3rd season that will never happen.
Kung Fu Sock
A Chinese Cartoon, that like above, was a magical Girl show that had hidden depths to it.
Dragon Ball z Kai and Super
The Legendary Franchise, one that Changed the World, defined it's Genre, was shown in stadiums, and had even caused international incidents between Japan and Mexico, had it's Kai version, the newest consice version with original music shown on Kix! Then in 2020, pop had shown the 100 plus Episodes of Super, including the Tournament of Power arc.
Dragon Ball was instantly a hit when POP got rights to it. However, POP went to the well to often in it's last years, replacing hours of programming with blocks of Super.

Monster High
Former Victims of my film review, I reviewed the last time Monster High got a reboot. Now Nickelodeon had rebooted monster high a 3rd time, this time with Clawdeen Wolf as main character. A complete and total Rewrite from what we had in the past. Now no longer Draculas castle to promote Human Understanding at a distance, Monster high is now a strict school where the generational gap is now at an Impasse. And quicker than you can say "Filthy Mud-Bloods in Hogwarts!" Clawdeen is enrolled after her half werewolf DNA Trigger growing a tail and a second set of ears. Soon Clawdeen uncovers a Conspiracy involving her missing mother.

Power Players
Zagtoons other show sees a young boy who can shrink thanks to a bootleg omnitrix, who teams with non descript Toys to fight other evil toys to stop them from Ruining toys for children everywhere.
Hero inside
A French Korean Cartoon and one of the most Gorgeous art directions I've seen in a long time!
Formerly on Cartoon Network, and shown out of order. 100 magical Comics were written by The mysterious Scott. 100 superpowered Beings reside within. Soon the books are fought over, and heroes are used by Villians of this world to find Scott, but a shock twist revolving Scott, throws the entire world for a loop!
Lego City
A 30 minute ad that dropped the ball after the Lego movie proved you CAN Write Stories that are not Third Party.
Lego Friends
The girl friendly Lego sets, which ironically had a sexist moment in one their Comics.
To the show itself, it's fine, it serve it's purpose that a circle of friends can be different but work as a unit when it matters the most.

A show like The later episodes of Ninjago was completely screwed by Cartoon Network and their incessant scheduling. Thankfully Dreams 1st season could be shown as it was meant, to but here's hoping either cbbc or Netflix gets this.
Droners
A French Cartoon that sadly, may be a one Season wonder.
In the near future, a tropical island in fear of Destruction. The only thing that can save the island is Clean Energy from Whaletech. But Porta Nui is not the only country in danger. The faith of 8 countries rely on....
Children and their eel powered Drones!
Despite being a environmental Cartoon, there is enough world building, lush artwork, believable Characters, and yes Subtle Morals without being preachy. It ended with a promise of second season expanding the world at large, but may never happen.

The more things change the more they stay the same.
And the Cheap stations still get badly acted Crap from OzNz.
Jade Armour
formerly on Cartoon Network, a Third Party Chinese/French Joint, Warner had commissioned so solely counter run Ladybug, but then the Disney Paywall happened so...
Like A lot of influence of it's rival, as it's also a Chinese Teenager with Superpowers and Secrets kept from her family and love interest.
Unlike Ladybug, Jade Armour embraces It's Chinese Roots. Li Fan practices Wushu and Tai Chi, the Fights with The Crimson Lord are actually that-FIGHTS!, and When she transforms into Jade Armour, she Draws powers from the Cardinal Wind Beasts (Blue Dragon, Black Tortoise, Vermillion Bird , White Tiger) and also faces a Monkey based on Sun Wokong.
Despite a Cult Status, it's possible it's already being cancelled.
Moley
Currently shown On Boomerang UK Graveyard Shifts, (Because why would you have Non Hanna Barbera shows on Boomerang), Moley...I'm afraid is a show I never watched. It just doesn't appeal to me.
Squish
Another Australian Cartoon which follows a Self serving Jerk of a Germ, who fails into misadventures and learns nothing. Like Gumball, but with no Charm and Missing Talk Frames!
Skylanders
10 years after Skylanders made their last game and their toys started Pilling Charity Shops, The Show that was Supposed to be shown at the peak of Popularity and be a Companion to the game Was finally shown over here. Some fun, but cliche. I'm glad that this would help in both Remaking Spryo the Dragon and Crash Bandicoot.
Yugioh Gx/Zexal/SEVENS
The Card Game Franchise sadly was home To it's worst second Dub and It's weaker 5th and 7th alliteration. All 3 shows didn't finish their pop Runs. Not helped that the last time, POP had forgone any Competition to bolster Sales and recognition of their IPs. And it doesn't help SEVENS literally change the game rules to game, right in the year of it's Creators death. And that sevens was as far and away, too different from It's original show as it could possibly be.
We went from Shadow Games where your Life was on the line.
To Side Characters wasting an Episode duelling over the remote!
Yugioh still exists as a card game, But the demographic is getting older and smaller as the years go on without An Anime to feed interest and pump new blood.
