Season 2 started last week with a twist-Aelita, The Computer Program Made Flesh, Suffered Visions of a past she did not know of, One that ties her, Kadic, The Factory, and a mysterious house in the woods called the Hermitage.
To That End, episode 28, Unchartered Terrority attempts to answer some questions, while at the same time, not reveal everything til much later.
Our Episode starts with an Elf chased by wolves. Lovely not only are we watching Code Lyoko, but another masterpiece overlooked By Cartoon Network,

That Morning, Jeremie tells the Boys he researched the Heremitage and found that it once belonged to a former Kadic Science teacher called Franz Hopper, More surprisingly, that info was protected by an encryption by the Government!
Sissi, Being a bitch, pranks Aelita into going into the boys shower, why? Because Aelita's traumatic night terrors ruined her beauty sleep! In fact, Aelita has no coping mechanism for people being mean to her, so runs away to the factory, something Sissi proudly exclaims in class.
The Boys Check out the Hermitage, In the Computer Room amidst the books of Physics and Computing, Jeremie finds something out of place: A book on Carthage and the Punic Wars! It's covered in notes and calculations so Jeremie pockets it.
On the Forest Zone Aelita has returned to Lyoko, the others come to convince her back, but something strange happens. A mysterious eye comes and takes her away. Jeremie scans Lyoko her Aelita's signature and it brings up a password box with an ominous Hint: WELCOME TO CARTHAGE!
Using the book he found he figures out to hit XANA where he lives, he must conquer Carthage, so he types in the name of the man who did : SCIPIO! This recalls the Eye to collect our Heroes
Located inside Lyoko's sun, Carthage is a subterranean world of ever changing walls and pillars. It's XANA'S Home sector...and it is designed to Kill You!
Non Xana Creatures can only stay in Carthage for 10 minutes, Walls that move to crush you, floor tiles that rise to ceilings or fall to pits, Nightmarish humanoids called Kreepers that ambush you in sharp turns.
But it's not the only nightmare on Lyoko, Enter the Terror that is the Scyphozoa!
Yumi is able get her parents off her back, by telling her she is in love! ERRR....HOW IS A TEENAGER TELLING HER OVERPROCTIVE PARENTS THAT SUPPOSED TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM?...but it does, because SHUT UP!

| Back in the day, a huge fan theory was these were humans destroyed and there data moulded into xana's image, meaning Aelita was not an outside Incident! |
Sure Enough this creature wraps Aelita in it's tentacles and to suck out her Memories and when it's done it just tosses her like garbage. it also doesn't help that the thing is indestructible. When the hentai monster leaves, so does the team. Aelita after nearly dying becomes more assertive to Sissi!
Exploration was a chance to explore more of Carthage, but it's a filler episode about Yumi staying up all night and being grounded. Jeremie reveals that exposure to Carthage alone has filled the server with new data, some he may use to destroy XANA, But since the 5th zone is a living trap, Aelita is stuck with the Scyphozoa again! The only pay-off is that we learn Yumi has a brother call Horoko and a new monster, The Mantas, Xana's elite Guard
